I invested ₹2,500 in PPF at the age of 17. It was not a lot of money then but I am more than happy to get a return of 15% without me doing much. It is always better to start early on investment, PPF being one among the best options.

Yes, PPF is worth it for investments made at a young age. The earlier you start investing in PPF, the more tax-free gains you are likely to accumulate.

Absolutely! You could say it’s the best thing you can do for your future as an Indian. It has a long time horizon, is backed by the government and has been in existence for such a long time that it is unlikely to go anywhere anytime soon.

PPF is a great investment and should be started as early as possible. The government offers 8% tax free interest rates on investments and that is an opportunity to grow your money while paying taxes at the same time.

If you plan to use PPF primarily as a retirement fund and want to enjoy higher returns, then I would recommend investing at an early age.
